BENEFITS OF PROSTATE HEALTH
The prostate is a walnut-sized gland located between the bladder and the penis, and just in front of the rectum. The urethra runs through the center of the prostate, from the bladder to the penis, allowing urine to flow out of the body. Among several other important functions, the prostate filters and removes toxins for protection of the sperm, which enhances the chance of impregnation and ensures that men have optimum quality of sperm. Therefore, as we absorb and ingest more and more toxins in our foods and in the environment, the health of the prostate is affected because of the load with which it must deal to eliminate the toxins. An important function, as well, is that the prostate, which surrounds the upper part of the urethra tube just below the bladder, control the flow of urine, preventing it from leaving the bladder except when released by urination.
